New! Lovato BF265-BF400 Contactors

Lovato has expanded its contactor lineup with a series of new, compact models. These contactors offer ratings from 256A to 400A AC-3 (400V) for motor control applications and 450A to 600A AC-1. Available in both 3 and 4 pole configurations, they boast the most compact design on the market. The 3-pole models, measuring just 140mm wide, align perfectly with equivalently rated molded case circuit breakers (MCCBs), streamlining the assembly of compact starters.

Efficiency and Reliability: The contactors feature electronically controlled AC/DC coils, significantly reducing power consumption. These coils also offer a wide nominal voltage range, operating reliably even under fluctuating conditions. For instance, a single coil can handle voltages from 100 to 250V AC/DC.

Flexibility and Customization: Low-profile front-mounted auxiliary contacts simplify wiring, with up to 6 contacts on 3-pole models and 8 on 4-pole models. Additionally, up to 8 contacts can be mounted on the side faces. A variety of accessories, including power terminal protections, isolating phase barriers, and terminal enlargement kits, facilitate the assembly of functional and safe panels. Mechanical interlocks, available in both horizontal and vertical configurations, can be seamlessly integrated without increasing the overall dimensions of the assembly.

Ease of Installation and Maintenance: The contactors feature convenient fixing holes and an accessory for tightening terminal screws with a single tool, making installation straightforward. A front-mounted mechanical indicator provides a clear visual indication of the contactor's open or closed state.

Safety and Compliance: Designed to meet stringent railway regulations for shock and vibration (IEC 61373), the BF265, BF330, and BF400 contactors also comply with fire behavior requirements of EN 45545 and are cULus certified for safety and quality.
